For less than the cost of a blank paper journal you can have an intelligent food journal that helps you discover hidden food allergies and sensitivities.
Food Allergy Detective doesn't require you to enter dates, times, food names, or amounts to make journal entries. All you do is check off foods or symptoms and tap Save. (You may enter a specific date and time if you like).
Food Allergy Detective then analyzes the data you've recorded to see if any patterns emerge and alerts you to potential problems using a simple red, yellow, green grading system. You can then view graphs to see the trends for yourself.

Food Allergy Detective App Review
"What a great way to check for any sort of food sensitivities.
This app is saving me from having to do an elimination diet. Thank you! Very customizable too."
"It's quite effective and very easy and
fast to enter food or symptoms. I have tried similar apps and while generally well made they tend
to be cumbersome to use. After setting my foods and symptoms, I can enter a meal in a handful of clicks.
I'd guess my normal entry time is around 6 to 8 seconds. In social settings it looks as if I'm just
getting a text or screening a call. It's about as unobtrusive as can be.
"Since I happen to have an iPhone, I rather insist I find a way to
use it to track tricky dietary issues.
So far I've purchased and used a couple of popular tracking apps. Each of them has been very sophisticated
and detailed in the scope of information they can record and track, but ultimately did not compile the data
in any way that I (or my Doc) can easily use. That, and it took some degree of effort to wind my way through
various pages and entries. Food Allergy Detective, on the other hand, has been significantly easier and
quicker to use, analyses are extensive and detailed, and the data can be exported via CSV file.
